Student Organizations

If your students hold membership with DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, BPA, JA, FFA, SkillsUSA or TSA at the high school level they can continue their membership at Johnson & Wales. And because of this membership they can receive scholarships worth up to full tuition. Last year J&W awarded over $20.5 million dollars in scholarships to members of these organizations.

Johnson & Wales is also involved with the following school-to-career programs:

ProStart is a school-to-career program sponsored by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) that encourages high school students to seek careers in the growing restaurant and food service industry. Scholarships to the University may be awarded to students who successfully complete the program.

Career in Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) is a school-to-career program that links public high schools to the food service industry. The comprehensive approach prepares students for a successful education and career. Scholarships to the University may be awarded by C-CAP to students who participated in C-CAP’s competitive event.
