2nd Annual Food Safety Symposium Hosted at Charlotte CampusIn collaboration with Nation’s Restaurant News, Ecolab sponsored the second annual Food Safety Symposium at the Charlotte Campus from September 15-17. Held as part of National Food Safety Month, the event attracted representatives from across the food service industry.
The symposium featured panel discussions moderated by industry executives, which addressed many of the prominent issues related to foodservice. Bob Sherwood, Vice President and General Manager for Ecosure, and Robin Allen, Executive Editor/Enterprise Reports for NRN, were some of the featured guests at the convention. Once the conference had concluded, attendees were encouraged to take part in an interactive dialogue to share information and propose solutions to an array of food safety concerns.
In addition to the panel discussions, Dr. Donna Garran, Vice President of Health & Safety Regulatory Affairs for the National Restaurant Association, presented a keynote production entitled “Collaboration for the Greater Good of the Industry.” In this speech, Garran addressed the benefits of following correct foodservice operations and how they can lead to substantial growth in your company. |
