Charlotte Culinary Team Wins National ICC Competition

The Charlotte Campus of Johnson & Wales University won the 6th annual hot food competition in Denver, Colo. this weekend.
 
The ICC, or Intercollegiate Culinary Competition, pits student chefs from around the nation against each other in a test of skill, knowledge, and presentation in preparing a four-course meal.
 
The five-member team from Charlotte took the gold this year. Last year it finished a close second.
 
Also of note, the pastry team from Charlotte won a bronze medal.
