Unprecedented partnership between Compass Group and J&W

In 2003, contract foodservice and hospitality leader Compass Group North America signed a unique Covenant with Johnson & Wales that cemented a partnership designed to support a range of degree programs and career opportunities. As Covenant partners, both the University and Compass Group have made a long-term commitment to cultivate human potential that best fits, and adds value to, each other’s organization.  
 
Compass Group brands include Au Bon Pain, Bon Appetit Management Company, Wolfgang Puck, Burger King, Sbarro, and Chartwells, among dozens of others. Elements of the Covenant include Compass Group Scholarships for promising high school students, progressive cooperative education opportunities with the food service giant, and development of a global career network to better connect Johnson & Wales students, graduates and alumni to Compass opportunities.
