International Exchange Program: IrelandJ&W's unique Ireland International Exchange program has been running for 25 years, and combines a practical and educational learning experience.
Each year, six J&W 2nd-year students are selected for a work/study program sponsored by the government of Ireland. For the first 5 weeks, J&W students gain real-life experience by working in one of Ireland's most prestigious hotels or restaurants. For the remaining 5 week period, each of three pairs of J&W students study culinary arts at one of the 10 most prestigious culinary schools across the country that are part of the international exchange program. In return, 6 students from among Ireland's most prestigious culinary schools are chosen to study for a trimester at J&W. Beyond tuition to J&W, there are no additional expenses for exchange students, as room and board and other expenses are sponsored by the Irish government. Back to International Study |
