Medley of Basmati and Wild Rice

1 and ½ cups water (for Basmati rice)
¾ cup Basmati rice
2 and ½ cups water (for wild rice)
¾ cup wild rice

In medium size pot, bring 1 ½ cups lightly salted water to boil. Add ¾ cup Basmati rice. Cover and reduce heat to low. Cook for 15 minutes, remove fro heat and let stand for five minutes. In another medium size pot, bring 2 and ½ cups lightly salted water to boil and add ¾ cup wild rice. Cover and reduce heat to low. Cook for 40 to 45 minutes, remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Mix Basmati and wild rice together and serve.

A great side dish to the Norwegian Salmon with Tomato and Bell Pepper Relish.
