Why Walt Disney World is excited about J&W students. . .

"Johnson & Wales is well-known in the industry and a lot of the chefs, restaurant managers, and GM's all know if they see a Johnson & Wales student or cooperative education student or graduate come to our location, they are excited to have them because they know they've been well-trained. . . We are really excited about getting them in Central Florida."

- Chef Pauli Milotte, Chef Recruiter College Program, Walt Disney World

Kelly Knorr did her sophomore co-op at Walt Disney World in Florida during winter 2005. She said, "While on co-op, I learned the inner workings of the bakeshop, how it is run, the different stations and shifts that make up the bakeshop along with working under a Certified Master Pasty Chef. The Walt Disney Company is an excellent company to work for; they are furthering my pastry skills and providing me with the experience that I will need to take on with me once I graduate."
