Third Season of "Master Class at Johnson & Wales" Airs on PBS

The third season of J&W's 26-week tv series, “Master Class at Johnson & Wales,” is currently airing on Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) stations across the nation.

The series showcases faculty and students from the College of Culinary Arts, providing viewers with a behind-the-scenes peek at the chefs, kitchens and training techniques of the world's premier food service educator. The half-hour episodes feature a variety of cooking, baking, and grilling techniques and are designed to provide the home cook with easy-to-prepare, yet interesting, foods from a variety of international cuisines.

In addition to faculty and students, the program showcases several Distinguished Guest Chefs in a master class setting, preparing recipes and sharing their experience and tips with the students. These well-known culinarians include Norman Van Aken, Rick Moonen and Cary Neff.

Several students, including John Bauernfeind, helped out in the kitchen with such guest chefs as Arthur Schwartz, and then appeared on camera as an assistant.
